A Little Bit About Me

You may be wondering who is behind Magnolia & Citrus Event Co. Well, let me introduce myself! My name is Andrea Lewis. I have worked in the events and marketing industry for over 10 years. I have done everything from working as an events assistant at an Elks Lodge, to running the entire events department at a large catering company, to building venues from the ground up. I have seen a lot and done a lot in this industry. I have planned and executed over 400 weddings and assisted over 10 companies with their marketing.

Apart from working in marketing and events, I am a wife and a mother. I said I do on April 19th, 2020. Yes, I got married in the height of the COVID pandemic, and, yes, it uprooted all of my plans. However, I wouldn’t change it for anything! Our wedding was beautiful and intimate, taking place at my husband’s childhood home and surrounded by our loved ones and “friendors”.

I am a mother to two beautiful daughters, and a fur mom to three cats and a dog. To say I have my hands full would be an understatement. My daughter Bailey is 9 years old and is the light of my life. She is smarter and kinder than I could ever hope to be. She outwits me on a daily basis and is my little best friend. My daughter Magnolia is only 10 weeks old! She has a smile that lights up the room and is starting to show her hysterical little personality. I cannot wait to see who she grows into. Our 3 cats are: Olive (an orange tabby ragdoll who plays fetch), Midnight (a black Bombay who is obsessed with Bailey) and Winter (a Russian white cat who is obsessed with Magnolia). Klondike, our forever puppy is a Pomkimo that loves to be the center of attention.

As most moms know, it can be hard to describe yourself apart from your family and your job. But I do enjoy a good book, a good margarita, and a good Spotify playlist (my current favorite is Country Coffeehouse). I am an avid member of Bachelor Nation and a lover of Target, Starbucks, and a good DIY project.

I would love to get to know you, and have you get to know me better! You should know that my goal with each client, whether you’re a bride or a brand, is for you to feel at home with me and with what we create together. After all, home is where the heart is.
